Hello there, everyone, and welcome back to the GSL English podcast.

My name is Gideon, and this is a podcast for all learners of English to practice and improve in a relaxed and natural way.

And as you can see, if you are watching this episode, I am joined by the most special guest.

of guests i'd like to welcome my wife heather onto the podcast everyone round of applause round of applause how are you doing i'm very good thank you you wholeheartedly dislike this don't you i really don't like this and you can you can tell that heather doesn't like this because i think it's i think it's nearly two years since you were on the podcast yeah you were the first guest ever the only in-person guest

Yeah, you're the first guest.

You're the only in-person guest.

And I do get quite a few comments asking, you know, we'd like to see your wife again, have a little catch up.

So tell the people, how are you doing?

I'm doing good, thank you.

Are you, because you don't watch the podcasts, do you?

I probably hear the first 10 minutes of them.

But that's only because you just hear me editing and editing.

Yeah.

Yeah.

And also another first.

This is the first episode where I've actually physically got a cup of tea.

Do you not normally have a cup of tea?

No.

And that's a clear indicator that you don't watch the podcast.

No, I never normally have a cup of tea.

Why not?

I tried it once and realized that I'm a bit of a loud sipper.

So if you think you're a loud zipper, what are you going to think of me?

Well, the microphone's further away.

Okay.

And because I realised there was an issue with that, because I'm the only one talking when I do the podcast, there's just these weird breaks where you just hear, swallow.

And it sounded awful.

I wouldn't want to listen to that.

That's ASMR, isn't it?

Maybe there's a market for it.

There is a market for it.

It's ASMR.

Okay.

And talking about the microphone being further away, you might find this as a, I don't know how the audio is going to come out because I've only got one microphone.

We've tried volume testing this far too much and we just had to get on with recording it.

Actually, I'm just going to check that I did click record.

Yes.

So no, I'm not going to get you again.

So if this is a little bit quiet, then I do apologize.

But it's 2026.

Mm-hmm.

We had a busy year last year, didn't we?

Busier than I anticipated it being, yeah.

What would you say was the biggest change for you?

You've had quite a few changes.

We've had quite a few changes.

We moved house.

You started like this.

Well, no, wait, no.

When did you start this?

The podcast.

It's a lot longer.

A lot longer than a year.

You joined it two years ago.

I saw...

I would say it's been a lot longer than you'd think I don't know why but I feel like you've only been doing this last year obviously not because I do now realise yeah I was on it but I didn't feel like that was two years ago

I think it was actually like it was at the beginning of this last year.

I think it was end of 2023.

Someone will probably correct me on this.

So there's some viewers that do actually enjoy the podcast.

It's not that I wouldn't enjoy them.

I just don't think it's not your cup of tea.

I've got these guys.

I've got these guys, these loyal fans that actually care.

So do we need her?

day which is not on the podcast um i think i think it was about 2023 okay about the end of all right so i was wrong with that so okay well maybe you haven't done as much as i have done there but what we did together was move house move house yeah this is our first home in england together you can see here heather did this interesting bit of decorating i think that's been one of the most interesting insights

after moving is the different approaches to a few things.

Because we started off with an empty house, so we didn't have anything, did we?

No.

We bought it all from scratch.

I think it's been really interesting, the differences of what we view as necessities of what we need and decorating styles.

I think we've got to a point now where we're kind of meeting the middle.

I think it's now just got to a point where you just don't question it.

That's marriage, right?

No, I mean, like, for example, for you, what your five necessities when we moved into this home, what were they?

Bearing in mind, we had nothing.

We started from scratch.

What were your necessities?

Well, we already had a sofa.

Okay, yeah, sofa.

Bed.

Yeah, I'd go with that.

I think we're going to agree on the five.

Go on then.

can't think well i wanted a rug actually i did get a rug straight away for the kitchen okay yeah i don't agree with that but carry on just give me your five then i'll give you my opinion it was rug because it was freezing cold floor tiles so i wanted a rug um else drawers wardrobes which we still haven't got

So they're your five necessities.

Yes.

I think I disagree with most of them.

Why?

I'll tell you why.

I think the first necessity was a mattress, not a bed frame.

To be fair, we bought them at the same time.

I've realized, actually, I keep doing this.

You asked me this before.

Sorry if I'm looking down, because from where the laptop is, we're down here, but the camera's up there, which I'm not used to that, Heather.

If you watch the podcast, you know where things are.

How many times is that going to get referenced?

So if I am looking down and not the camera, I do apologize.

So yeah, mattress was a necessity.

Bed frame, not so much.

You can chuck a mattress on the floor.

Which we did, I think, initially.

Yeah.

So far we ordered.

But we ordered the bed frame because we knew what we wanted.

Rug, not essential at all.

Not at all.

Yeah, but then otherwise you just have like an empty house.

I think the soft furnishings stop the echo, make it feel a bit warmer.

I think if I hadn't have done that, the home wouldn't have felt as homely as quick.

Oh, I 100% agree with that.

Okay.

Okay.

This looks like a home because of you.

But let's carry on with necessities.

Fridge?

Oh, yeah.

Which we didn't have for longer than we anticipated.

Oh, that was funny.

So Heather said, I was going to say one thing is you struggle making decisions in that kind of area.

Just because you're a big thinker and Heather will make a decision.

Am I right?

I don't like thinking there's a better option.

Yeah.

So I don't like committing.

Just explain that a little bit.

So how do I explain that?

I will find something I like, but then I will think, let's just double check that there isn't something else I like more.

Okay.

Yeah.

And because I find other things, then I have too many things to decide from.

Whereas you'll see one thing you like and think, just get it.

It's good enough.

I can't do that.

I have to check every single website, every single shop, everything to make sure that there isn't a better option.

Yeah, which once I've seen it, I think that's what I want.

I don't need to know what else is out there.

But what happened?

So we said to Heather, I was quite busy.

As you know, I've got a bit of another business as well.

So I

I was working with that, and we said, Heather, are you all right to order the fridge?

So Heather said, yeah, yeah, I'll order the fridge.

Yeah, well, this is quite a big...

But what happened when the fridge came?

It was a lot smaller than I anticipated.

It was half the size of me.

I'm short and I could put my elbow on the top of the fridge.

I remember the guys delivering it and they looked at me and I looked at them and I said, I don't think you were around when it got delivered.

I don't know what you were doing.

No.

They looked at me and I looked at them and said, that is a small fridge, isn't it?

And they said, yeah, is this your only fridge?

I said, I think it is.

I said, so is the other half coming?

I measured the width.

It had a specific space it had to fit in.

I didn't think about the height.

I was proud of you for making the decision, though.

Thank you.

That's also why I don't make decisions well, because then that happens.

They sort it out.

We've got another fridge.

So, yeah, fridge was a necessity.

It's also interesting as well, because for me, just moving in...

One plate each, one bowl each, a knife, a fork, one of everything that we need was enough.

But I realised there's such thing as matching sets for plates, for bowls, for knives, for fork.

Everything's got to be matching.

We didn't have that many plates or bowls to start with either because I couldn't decide on the plates and bowls I wanted.

Yeah, a lot of this just comes back to decision making, doesn't it?

No, I have something in mind and I spend a long time trying to find it.

And maybe sometimes it doesn't exist.

Which, yeah, which creates a massive issue.

But therefore I make it.

So I'm trying to think what are the other necessities?

There's a lot of necessities, but you have to prioritise as and want.

But yeah, fridge, I didn't think about fridge, but yeah.

What did you find?

Because they say that moving house is one of the most stressful things you can do.

Did you find it a stressful process?

No, because we didn't really have anything to move over.

Do you reckon that's what creates the stress for people?

I think, yeah, because then you're having to condense down.

We didn't really have any stuff to condense down.

We already had things in some suitcases anyway.

And we're only renting, so it's not like we were trying to sell another.

In England, the whole process of buying and selling a house is really stressful.

I imagine it's the same in most countries, but I would say particularly here in England, the process is long.

I like the way you're nodding like you understand.

i know from friends we have friends from what we know we've never bought a house but from what we know it's a stressful process um but yeah you're right we didn't really have a lot to do we just moved in and even when it came to clothes i just spread out a sheet on the bed and put all of the the clothes that were hung up still on the hangers just on the sheet and then bundled it up like

You know, like the cartoon character where they have it over their shoulder with that stick when they're feeling upset.

And they're feeling blue.

Yeah, like that.

Except it was heavier than that, so I dragged it down the stairs.

But we're here now.

We've settled in all right.

You've made it at home.

We're getting there.

We're decorating.

I think that's the thing that takes time, is for a while...

I spoke about this on an episode, but you wouldn't know.

It feels like a shell.

It takes quite a while for it to feel like a home.

Did you find that as well?

I would say only in the last few months it smells like us.

Not in a weird way, but it smells like us.

We've got our stuff in here.

Now it feels like a home.

You have to put your own print on it.

Which for me is colour and something that's not grey.

Another amazing thing you did this year

that i want to pick your brains on you started a fully fledged business this year didn't you i guess so yeah you did i know but it doesn't feel like it it just feels like um i don't know i'm just now doing something with my time that pays me money but i think this is a really encouraging experience so what are you doing now um i'm now a nail technician

The nail technician, perhaps just explain what that is.

Most people will know, but just what is a nail technician?

I make people's nails look nice, but also care for the health of their nails in the process.

Now, when did you start, let's say, trading as a business?

I think my official opening date was the 1st of April.

1st of April 2025.

Yes.

It's under a year.

And now you've got enough work from doing that.

I've got bookings as far as May.

January is full.

February is almost full.

Did you expect the business, because if I'm being completely honest, you've got a real creative mind, but you would never have said beforehand that business was your strong point.

It still isn't, I'll be honest.

So how did you do it?

How did you... Because I didn't really help you with this.

You did it all yourself.

Yeah.

It is a massive achievement.

How did you start a business and get it to the point where you want it within nine months?

What was your mindset?

My mindset?

I don't know.

I just wanted to make...

pretty nails i guess it helps i enjoy what i do um because you do you love it i love it uh the scary part was actually having to interact with people i didn't know um but it's been like the first few were really scary but it ended up being really wonderful and i've got incredible friends from it so i think that has helped what were you scared of um

Being conversational for a while one-on-one with somebody you don't know.

Because it's just you and the client.

So that was kind of scary.

Running out of things to talk about.

And also particularly because I am doing something at the same time that requires, for me, a lot of mental focus.

So having to juggle the two is really hard.

Sometimes I'm not as conversational as I would like to be.

And I do honestly say that.

I say we can either do nail art or we can have conversation, but we can't do the two at the same time.

Because am I right that a lot of people that come to get their nails done,

I think within that world, I don't know anything about it, but I think it's a little bit of a break, isn't it?

You've got a lot of busy mums, you've got a lot of working people.

For them, coming to get their nails done is actually just a bit of them time.

I think at the beginning, I put a lot of pressure on how fast I was doing their nails.

But over time, and...

becoming good friends with the clients i've come to realize that actually that time that they have is just a bit of peace a bit of um what's the word not self self self care self care yeah self care um because they don't really get chance to have an excuse to do that without a reason for it so they're getting the nails done which is something practical because it does help a lot um

I think one of the reasons that your business became successful is because you understood that aspect of it.

And I think that I learned a lot from that, that actually it's not just about knowing or knowledge of what you do.

It's understanding what the customer wants from that experience, which, of course, they want their nails done.

But also they want a place where they can just switch off for a couple of hours, get their nails done and just not have to think about everything else.

Do you think you understanding that is what helps you to just grow the business?

I think so.

But also I'm passionate about them having a good experience.

So I want them to sit and relax because it makes me feel more relaxed.

I also care about their nails and their lives actually.

It's quite nice to just chit chat and catch up.

You get to know them.

Yeah.

And it's like sometimes a therapy session for them because then they get to talk to somebody

kind of offload and it's just, I don't know, it's just quite nice getting to know them.

So what would you say to someone that, you know, if there's a viewer or a listener on this that has got something that they love doing,

They want to start a business.

I think it's easy to say, just follow your dreams, do what you love.

That's not really it.

What would you say to somebody that just wants to start a business?

I mean, I do think I was in quite a lucky position because we moved into this house and it had an outdoor space to make a studio.

So I do think we already had, well, I already had an advantage.

But as far as starting your own business, I think you have to be completely in love with what you're doing.

Well, I mean, not to say that you...

I do.

I don't know.

I don't know whether you have to be completely in love with it.

I think for me, I have to.

Yeah, okay, for you, yeah.

Because I get bored of things fast and lose motivation because of that.

So if I stopped liking what I do, it would be very easy to just kind of put the brakes on and not push for it.

But also, I guess...

I don't know really.

I'm not a business person.

So taking business advice from me is not the most ideal.

I think that's the encouraging part.

I just loved what I do and wanted to do it full time.

And that was the thing.

It wasn't an option.

And also because we'd invested a lot into the supplies and I told everybody that's what I was going to be doing.

I felt like I had to because I didn't want to fail.

So failure wasn't an option.

Yeah.

So that's I think that's the interesting part that for you.

That's one thing I noticed with you, your determination that because it had to work because I guess the initial investment and an element of see that is because my phone battery is low.

I don't know whether you just heard that little noise, but that's because I forgot to charge my phone before this.

Do you not just keep it on charge all night?

You'd think so.

You'd think so.

But you've got to realise this isn't a professional podcast.

For those that watch regularly, no, it's not a professional podcast.

So, what were we saying?

you were saying i was determined yeah i think because but also there's pride involved things like that you let's be honest you didn't want it to fail no so i think no matter what it is you you've got to be determined with it so you've got to choose something that that determination can stay but i think it helps if you love what what it is that you're trying to achieve yeah

And yeah, I became obsessed with creating the perfect nail sets and would analyze them constantly.

And all I wanted to do with them was the next person's nails to improve.

So I think it was also a lot about me.

In a way it's selfish, like I wanted to be better.

And the only way to improve my skills was to then keep having more and more clients.

So I had to push for, you know, advertising my studio to get more clients because I needed to practice more.

Okay.

But also you invested in yourself as well in the sense of training.

Yeah, doing the training.

You did a lot of courses, didn't you?

And I'm still doing more courses now.

Yeah, not stop learning.

No.

So that's it.

I think if people do want to start a business or they've got that, you've got to find something where that determination can stick.

Because I think you can have an idea, whereas it's really difficult to stay determined with it.

I've done it in the past where that motivation just isn't there, whether you love it or not.

And for you, you marketed so much, didn't you?

On Facebook, particularly.

On Facebook, yeah, but I didn't pay for any of the marketing.

I just pestered everybody.

Somebody told me that we get so many emails every single day from all kinds of shops and everything.

And okay, some might get annoyed and unsubscribed, but generally you don't really care about how many emails you get.

And the same is with us.

Why should we feel apologetic by how much we're advertising?

At the end of the day, if they don't want to see your stuff, then they just scroll across it.

It doesn't really affect them that much, but it affects us if we don't advertise.

Well, I'm proud of you.

Thank you.

You should be proud of yourself.

Yeah, actually.

Apart from that, 2025 was a busy year, quite a momentous year for us.

I wonder what 2026 will hold.

We're not starting another business.

No, we're certainly not.

Hopefully we'll still be doing the podcast, but it's gone a bit stale recently.

Has it?

Not stale, but we're not growing as much as we were before, just being completely honest.

Is it because I'm not watching?

It's because you're not in it.

I know.

This isn't becoming a regular.

I think it is.

I think so.

We know in the comments, would you like Heather to once a month join the podcast?

We could read stories together, articles.

We'd have so much fun.

That sounds more boring, reading stories and articles.

No, what's boring is me doing it for these poor people every week.

Okay, but if I come on, I'm not reading stories and articles.

What do you want to talk about?

Well, I guess somehow we're filling the space talking about goodness knows what now.

You wait till we've got what's coming next on this one.

But yeah, 2026 should be a good year.

It's our anniversary next month.

Yeah, next one.

Looking forward to all my presents.

What are you getting me?

Have you got me anything yet?

I have.

No, you've not.

I have.

When?

I'm an old romantique.

I have got you presents.

Have you actually?

You've not.

I know you've not.

I actually have.

No, you've not.

I'm at home all the time.

Nothing's been delivered.

I have got your presence.

So what we're going to talk about next, because we're going to talk about something called hot takes.

We love a hot take, don't we?

So what is a hot take?

I've got a definition here.

See if you agree with this definition, if I can find it.

So when someone says, I've got a hot take.

It is a strong, often controversial opinion or perspective on a current event or trend.

So if someone says, oh, here's a hot take.

They're going to give their opinion or their perspective on something.

that could be perceived as controversial or most people would disagree.

Would you say that's what a hot take is?

So I've got some examples and you've got some examples.

We'll just start off with a really simple one, just so the viewers and listeners can get an idea of what a hot take is.

Now, I think we both agree or disagree with this hot take.

Okay.

Pineapple and pizza is good.

No, I disagree.

I disagree as well.

Okay.

I don't think we'll do that again.

No, but apparently to make a good high five is you have to look at each other's elbow.

I seem to remember us high-fiving on the first podcast we did together.

We're not high-fiving again.

I didn't like that.

We're not high-fiving in general.

We're not high-fivers.

It just felt like, but now we know.

I high-five other people.

Have you what?

High-five others.

No, I don't think you're a high-fiver.

I'm not a high-fiver.

I'm not a fist bumper either.

You know, like some people can do like cool fist bumps.

No, I'm not.

No, I'm not.

If you're listening to this, this is the visual portion of the podcast.

All right.

So pineapple on pizza.

A hot take would be someone saying pineapple on pizza is amazing.

I disagree wholeheartedly.

I think it's disgusting.

I don't like the texture of it.

There you go.

I think it's not a sweet, like I like sweet and spicy or sweet and savory, like honey on pizza, like a hot honey.

That's nice.

Yeah.

Yeah.

I agree with that.

But the texture of hot pineapple.

Are you ready for my first hot take?

This is genuinely my opinion, and I know you're going to hate this.

So we haven't told each other what the other's hot take is.

Just checking my phone back.

So my first hot take is that cereal can be eaten any time of the day, anywhere.

It's breakfast.

No, I disagree.

I think we need to stop this idea that cereal is only for the morning.

Yeah, but it is marketed for breakfast.

They say breakfast cereal.

Well, they're marketing it wrong then.

Because I don't think it's a meal in itself, except for breakfast.

But for example, if we're watching TV at 10 o'clock, I get a bit peckish.

Weetabix.

Weetabix, especially in the morning.

Cocoa Pops.

It's a great little snack.

No, I don't agree.

So I think cereal can definitely, as a hot take, be eaten at any time of the day.

What do you guys think?

I agree when it means I don't have to make something.

It is purely supplementary.

So it doesn't replace a meal, but it does replace a meal for breakfast.

As breakfast, it's a meal.

Why is it sufficient for breakfast, but not for any other meal?

I think it is actually, because I definitely have something else with it, like a protein shake.

For the average person, it's sufficient for one meal.

Yeah.

Here's another food-based one that we were talking about, okay?

It's the soup situation.

We've had a massive discussion about soup recently.

I don't believe soup can be classed as dinner in itself or soup.

But it wasn't on its own.

It had nice, freshly baked by a friend, sourdough loaf.

I know, but I just don't think it's enough for dinner.

It was enough for dinner.

Not for me.

Because it was a thick soup.

It was very tasty.

It was lovely.

But it was a thick soup.

Soup is not a dinner.

It wasn't like a watery soup.

It was like loads of roasted vegetables, blended and, you know, zhuzhed up.

That's an interesting... You've got to explain that.

Zhuzhed.

So I don't actually know if that...

I think it is a word.

I tried to spell it once.

Do I spell it now?

I think it was like J... Zhuzhed.

Zhuzhed.

What do you mean when we say zhuzhed up?

Like you...

Add a bit of something to make it better.

You're kind of putting your touch on it to make it nicer or more interesting.

Add a bit of flair.

Yeah.

Like generally with anything.

You do that with everything though.

Heather's a very good cook.

I'm not a good cook.

You are a great cook.

You're better than me.

No, actually, I don't think you're a bad cook.

I think you just have limited recipes that you do.

Very true.

And what you do, you do well.

So soup.

So I don't mind it for lunch.

But soup for dinner is not enough.

Why is it okay for lunch?

Because dinner is the big meal of the day.

Yeah, but it is a big meal.

It's nice and warm.

It's comforting.

We've talked about this for hours already.

But let me know in the comments.

Well, let us know.

And what I'll have to do is I'll have to let you know what the comments say because you won't keep track of this.

You're just like, yeah, I'm on the podcast.

Don't care anymore.

Do you think soup is enough for a dinner meal?

Yes, a thick, big bowl of soup.

I'm asking the people.

I'm just explaining that it wasn't a watery soup.

I'm clarifying.

It was a thick, really nice, it wasn't too creamy or sickly, and very substantial in the vegetables that we used.

And it was a big bowl, and you had multiple slices of buttered sourdough.

Because I was really hungry.

Fresh sourdough.

Still hungry afterwards.

No, you weren't.

Okay, what's your hot take, your first one?

Can I have a look at mine?

Heather's, just while she's looking, Heather's got into crocheting recently, as you can see by the crochet balls.

Are these crochet balls?

No, it's yarn.

Yarn that is everywhere around our house now.

So she started on, just two days ago, the living room is just full of yarn.

There's yarn coming out of my ears.

Yarn coming out of your ears?

Don't mess with her.

Okay, Android is better than Apple.

Wow.

That's your hot take?

Yes.

Do you agree with that?

Yes.

I fundamentally disagree.

Why?

Apple, Apple, Apple, iPad, Mac, iPhone.

Okay, to be fair, I agree that...

Anything I do on here will change on there.

i agree with that but you know what is crucial about an android i know exactly what you're gonna we're gonna say in three two one has a back button i knew you were gonna talk about the back button i don't like the apple stuff you have to go to the top of the screen to get it and my hands are small i like it at the bottom there

If I could show you on my phone's camera.

No, you tried showing me the other day and I still didn't understand.

And you were swiping and you couldn't get where you actually wanted to get to straight away.

I just think with iPhone, with Android, you have to press five buttons to do what you... Or three or five buttons to do what you do with an iPhone with one.

No, you don't.

Give an example of when I've had to press more buttons...

Oh, and you know what else is really good about Android, right?

On WhatsApp, I can preview all of my messages without actually opening them because there's a widget at the side that I can read all of my messages without actually opening them.

But then you don't open messages.

You're the worst.

Even your friends would say, Heather is as terrible.

She's great in person.

But if I'm ever in a really bad situation, I can tell you what I'm not going to do.

I'm not going to message you.

Should I look at them?

No, I do look at them.

I just don't reply.

No, I mentally reply.

And because in that moment, I'm not prepared to actually have a full-blown conversation, like a back and forth.

I won't reply in that moment.

I'll just deal with it later because like right there and then I'm not ready to reply.

So I'll reply later.

I mean, if it's something that's like absolutely they need to know right this second, I will reply.

Yeah.

But if it's just, I don't know, or I meant to reply and think I'm going to, oh, I'll need to message them and I forget.

And then it gets that really awkward stage.

of you've not replied in so long, and then you do eventually reply, and then now it's a little bit awkward.

I think iPhone generally has better cameras.

They're easier to use.

I do agree with that, to be fair.

I just love, because I'm not technologically minded at all, I love the continuity of it.

So everything I do on one, it just goes to the other.

No, I agree with that.

So I disagree.

I agree with that.

We should have done a little science.

Disagree with that whole take.

Do you want me to give you another one?

What was the other one I found?

Crocs are one of the best shoes ever made Crocs I love them I think in comfort and practicality I agree but in how they look I disagree I like the Lightning McQueen ones

Well, the Chewbacca ones.

The Chewbacca ones?

The Star Wars ones.

You said Chewbacca?

Yeah.

Chewbacca?

No.

Chewbacca?

Chewbacca.

Chewbacca.

I've always said Chewbacca.

Well, you normally just said Chew, didn't you?

Chewbacca.

Okay.

But I think they're one of the best shoes ever made.

And yet you don't own a single pair.

Is it?

So I get mocked.

I get ridiculed.

If you're a croc lover, if you're a croc wearer, let's stand united in the comments.

You can't stand united because you don't have any crocs.

I will do one day.

Don't you worry.

The crocs will rise.

Okay, give me another one of your hot dogs.

The battery's going to go in a bit, so we're going to have to start wrapping this up.

Chocolate is a dessert, not a snack.

You believe that?

You believe that?

You can't just eat chocolate randomly in the day.

Watch me.

There's a pack of after eights over there.

Once we've recorded this, I'm going to annihilate.

You ate a full box of Maltesers on your own and a full box of matchsticks on your own.

And if you found where the bar of Cadbury's marvellous creations were, you'd be eating that whole bar.

I do think I've got a bit of an issue with chocolate.

I just can't stop.

For example, you only get a bar of chocolate.

I can't just have one row.

that's enough that's enough for me but anyway coming back to the hot take I think chocolate can be eaten any time of the day because why not life is so stressful there's so many crazy things going on in life we work hard we pay bills if I were to have chocolate at 11 o'clock as a little snack why not okay hot take that kind of jumps onto that savoury is better than sweet again I disagree but that's okay

I guess it works out well because I don't have to share my snacks with you and you don't have to share your snacks with me.

Although you still end up eating my snacks.

I just love eating, generally.

Match made in heaven.

Actually, I just lose out.

Match made.

The battery's going to die.

I hope you enjoyed having Heather on the podcast.

I absolutely love that, genuinely.

You need to join me more.

I think if this takes off, if this gets lots of views, if you're still watching at this point,

write heather in the comments you've told them to write so many different things in the comments you know the drill you know so no but they know that if they so there's one thing you'd know this if you watch and listened but at the end of every podcast i give a code word that you put in the comments and it shows that you've listened to the end heather is that today heather is that no sorry

Write Heather in the comments if you got to this point.

And if you would like Heather to join more often, let me know, because I genuinely think we could make this work once a month.

Get the views up, you know, get the podcast growing a bit.

I think people are bored and little old kid.

Yeah.

Well, thank you very much.

yeah thanks for listening guys thanks for watching thank you heather for joining me i know it's it is weird being in front of a camera isn't it like so i do appreciate you coming i don't know where to look i just do what you do and really this has just been an inconvenience to my crocheting project so i know you're gonna go straight back over there in a minute in crochet yes because i've just started a new one to make a cardigan but thank you so much for watching thank you for listening guys please don't forget to give this video a like um subscribe

Follow along on Spotify.

Do what you need to do.

Normally at this point, I say, have a good one, guys.
